Stock Market Bull

A customer's hubby works at the NY Stock Exchange and wanted something representing that. So here's my attempt at replicating the "Charging Bull" statue. I used 3 9" x 13" sheet cakes carved and positioned on a cake board which is suspended by a block of styrofoam covered in black paper. The entire head and legs are carved styrofoam. Everything is covered in fondant then airbrushed brown and painted with bronze lusterdust. I'm pretty happy with the way it came except for the seams. I have to work on that!!

Thank you so much for the details of construction! I want to try a standing bulldog - mascot for my home town college football - and I've been wracking my brain... Great idea and amazing cake! When I make the bulldog (September) I'll be sure to give you credit for the help in my photos :D
