80Th Birthday Cake
This cake was for my MIL's 80th birthday. The top layer is red velvet with cream cheese filling, the middle is chocolate with chocolate ganache filling and the bottom is vanilla with white chocolate filling. All icing is buttercream but the flowers, bows and nametag are gumpaste. The icing was much smoother than it looks in this picture but this is the only picture that I got the entire cake in.
Very pretty! With all those wonderful flavors I would have had a small piece of each!
I think it is adorable! Looks like a lot of work went into it as well...lots of detail. ...with the scrolls and bows and flowers!
