Yellow Roses
This was actually a birthday cake for a friend's mother, but it has a "mothers day" feel to it! Simple white velvet (again) with buttercream. I made the roses out of fondant!

what is "white velvet" cake? sounds absolutely delicious! And VERY awesome cake, very simplet, but extremely elegant!
OH my....I really fibbed here! It is buttercream under the fondant! I am losing it lately!! I wish my buttercream was that smooth! White velvet is mostly a butter cake (3 sticks) with sugar and creme royal. I actually substituted half of the sugar this time with splenda!
