Saddle Cake
Fruitcake with sugarpaste. Thanks to Peachez for the inspiration. The brown sugarpaste tastes rather chocolatey, and the family loved the combination with fruitcake in a previous cake I made for them (Kilimanjaro cake). Used scrunched up tinfoil for the leather texture and brown food colouring mixed with vodka for the look.

Thank you! I used brown sugarpaste for all of the saddle, working from a sketch I made of a real saddle. First the raised bit in the middle and then the rest, using modelling tools to shape and indent it.
