Little Bassinet
I normally don't like doing sheet cakes, but this one was fun. You can't see it in the pic very well, but I did a basketweave (with a #3 tip) on the bassinet. There were clear sparkle sprinkles on the whole thing. After I took this picture, I looked at the order and the cake was supposed to say "Welcome Olivia Grace" OOPS! So, I scraped off the letters and redid the 2nd line. Luckily it wasn't noticeable at all! note to self: read twice, pipe once...

LOL- Sugar_Plum_Fairy, I wouldn't be insulted if I were you. If my name hadn't been printed on my apron this week I would've probably forgotten my OWN name! Thank you both for the nice comments.
Your writing is great, do you have a secret?? My writing is never that good. I also love the colors. Did you airbrush?
lorabell, yes, a lot of the color on the cake was airbrushed- it saves so much time! For the writing, I usually write it out once on paper to make sure I put swirls in places I want them, but that is my normal handwriting. I have used fonts from the computer and projected them on the cake before though too. Whatever works! :)
