OK... this is a 10" 8" and 6" topper.... Banana nut cake, with whimisical buttercreme filling, faux fondant icing, and the sand is made of pecan sandies and vanilla waffer cookies crushes...It really had a good flavor even with the cookie crumbs all over it...

That looks very nice.. Must agree with melly, looks like real sand. How did you get the crumbs to stay put on fondant?

I did one cake at at time... Iced it, them took a hand full of crumbs and started to sprinkle the cakes...This is faux fondant..not the rolled kind...

The shells are ceramic..... and Laurel sent me via email the whimsical bakehouse buttercreme recipe...
