Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding Cake

Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This was made for a couple who were huge fans of Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas. Instead of using sugar for the Jack and Sally figures I decided to try using Fimo clay. First time I have used it and really liked working with it. The cake was three tiers of vanilla sponge with jam and vanilla buttercream filling covered with marzipan and sugarpaste and airbrushed with gold lustre. The swirl design on the sides was supposed to represent the hill which finished on the top tier.

Spooky but cool! What type of material did you make them out of? Inedible? (not that they'd wanna eat em' cause they're so cute)

PSL Cake Lady - As mentioned in my description I used Fimo clay. First time I have used it - loved it. And yes not edible but thought they would want to keep them anyway.
