Farm Animals

These are the animals I put on the farm cake I posted a while ago. They are made out of MMF . I am just starting out moulding and it is so much fun.

The tractor was about four inches long. The wheels gave me a lot of trouble. I got the basic shape and then used the fat end of a toothpick for the treads. I had to reshape the wheels a little bit after puting on the treads. I

I actually used my kids Little People as a guide. MMF is marshmellow fondant. You can get the recipee on this site. It is so easy to make and doesn't taste bad either.

Well I must say, these look like BIG FUN !!! You did an awesome job on these. How did you get the colors so bright...green, orange etc? My colors always look "pastel"

I don't make that much fondant of each color and I put a lot of coloring gel in to get the colors.Thanks for all of the nice coments!
