Colored Leaves on Cake Central

Iced with buttercream frosting. The leaves made with wafer paper look so real!

Absolutely awesome. I am making my first wedding cake soon (my own) and I have boughten these wafer leaves from Sugarcraft to place on it like you did. Thank you for helping with instructions!

Thanks so much for the nice compliments! I noticed that Sugarcraft sells leaves already printed on wafer paper. I scanned in real leaves and printed them myself with edible ink. Then, thinnly (very, very thinly) spread them with clear piping gel. Let them dry 2-4 hours.(They still will feel a bit sticky). Cut them out with sissors, You may have to wipe your blades with a paper towel with cooking oil to keep them from sticky so much). Lastly, I held each on over steaming water for just a second to curl them.
