My First Wedding Cake
Okay, I've been a long time fan of this site but have never posted. I felt I needed to make a "real" cake - not just practice cakes at home - before I posted anything. This was my first wedding cake made this last weekend for my sister's wedding. She wanted a seashell wedding cake. I was so nervous but it came out okay I think.

Its buttercream icing - the coral is made out of royal icing and the seashells are white chocolate

beautiful cake, how did you make the shells seem to glow?
I painted them with super pearl luster dust. It is like $5 for this tiny jar of dust but it goes a long way and was really worth it.
