Ashley's Wedding Cake
This is a wedding cake that I did for my sister on a 2 days notice for her wedding. Her husband is in the army and they moved up his ship out date so they had to move up the wedding by a month. This cake is vailla, chocolate and strawberry. With filling in each. Covered in fondant. This was my first time using fondant and with 2 days to make the cake I think that it was the wrong time to try it. This is only the second cake that I've actually decoreated/made. On that short of notice, she's lucky she had you around to do a cake for her.... Looks real nice...
Thanks for the lovely comments... and no the flowers weren't real. I had to cheat just a little bit. I wanted to do the gum paste flowers but again TIME. I'm still in college, so with school, work and this cake I tried to take a couple short cuts.
