This cake was crazy to set up. I only had 30 minutes to get 9it set up. On the 1/2 hour drive to the venue, the cake faded from lavender to light blue. And I forgot the cake stand. I ended up placing the cake on a cake pan I had in the car to raise it up, and then I placed the roses around the base (the roses were going to go in between the top two tiers, but I ended up having to stack the cake). Ironically, the blue color it became matched the tableclothes to a tee, and the client loved it...yay!
