This is so wonderfull. How did you do it? Did you carve from some sheet cakes? I love the spiderman. Are those fondant stones you have around the cake? :D

You are so smart. Yes they are. It was a 1/2 sheet & a 6" square. The head is a styrofoam egg shaped ball.

What a cool cake. Since I'm here to "critique," I would say that the border looks a little uneven in places...too much or too little pressure here or there. Is the icing in the windows Tobas? It looks a little thin and runny. Lastly, the bc on the roof is a little rough. That stuff can give us fits! All of that being said, it is a really cool cake and I think you did a good job. ;-D

excellent carving skills! I might suggest adding a little more to the cake board if you are going to put anything on it, as a few stones makes it suddenly look a little bare.

Critique group member: The border looks uneven in spots and it seems a little bare but overall it look good.

Critique Group Member: The only thing I can add to what our other members said is to trim the bottom edge of Spiderman. That's a cool cake. I know your grandson must be so excited to have a grandmother who can make cool cakes for him.

Critique Group Member: I can't add much more than what has been said, but I wanted to say congrats on doing a carved cake! I know that aren't easy! :)
