Amber on Cake Central

My first wedding cake! Butter recipe cake, BC icing, fondant, edible pearls, gumpaste bow & initials. Thanks to my sil for her advice and moral support. The bride's grandmother provided the broach.

I made two bows (in case one broke) several days in advance. It was made with a 50/50 mix of Satin Ice fondant and gumpaste, so it was dry the next day. I printed out the "H" from Word and cut it out for a stencil. The "A" and "J" were from tap-its.

Girl, all i l can say is WOW wished my first wedding cake looked that good great job on the bow did you let it set up before putting it on the cake or did you do it the same day as the set up of the cake, and did you have a pattern for the initial??
