In album: royal
This is the first royal icing flowers I made. My husband was amazed that I could make them after only a few weeks of Wilton classes. (So was I). But I thought if I could do this after only a few weeks than I have to continue and learn how to create much more! The color was so much nicer than the pictures turned out to show.

Nice job on your morning glories - mine weren't half as nice - good luck/

I don't think I was ever taught how to make morning glories in my Wilton classes. Care to share the instructions? I think I can figure it all out except how the white is accomplished in the middle.

I started with the white. It is the blue that I brought around on top half and then took the brush with a touch of vanilla/water and pushed down to make the star shape you see into the white. So it is really easy..just remember the blue portion is what creates the star not the white. Then finish with the white lines and yellow center.
