Castle Cake
This was my first attempt at a castle cake, there are a lot of mistakes and I learned a lot of lessons. I guess it didn't turn out too bad, hopefully the next one will turn out better.

Thanks guys for all of the positive comments! They make me feel better about it. I'm not sure how many if fed, it was for a little girls first birthday and they asked for a sheet cake with a castle on it so that's what I did.

It looks wonderful. Can you tell me also how you did the brick work. I am trying to make a castle cake for my daughters 3rd birthday.
the cake is 2 11 x 15 sheets side by side, castle is 2 layers 8" square and 2 mini muffins stacked. the brick work is rnd tip 12, pull it to get the length of the brick that you want rather than making a circle. the turrets are 5 sugar cones on ea. side stacked with bc inbetween each, the top one is rolled in purple sugar. the bushes, windows & door are royal icing. good luckw/your cakes, please send me pics when you are finished.
