Tiki Hut Wedding Shower Cake

Tiki Hut Wedding Shower Cake on Cake Central

My version of a tiki hut cake :) Bottom tier was 14" round (3"inches thick) done in chocolate kahlua ... next tier was pina colada flavor; 12" round (3 inches thick)... tiki hut was white almond flavor (no liquor) .. seashells were made out of fondant and painted with non-toxic chalks and dusted with luster dust ... I used some graham cracker crumbs for sand below the shells... all tiers had 2 layers of buttercream icing then MMF over the buttercream. I had so much fun with this one!

Yes, they're made with fondant and painted with non-toxic chalks that I crushed and used to brush the shells with... thanks for your comments :)

I absolutely love this!!! Would is be ok to use this as inspiration for my bosses brunch cake? It's a tropical resort theme, and I am looking for ideas!
