b-day cake for my DH 20 year fd member!! His bunkers and boots- buttercream and fondant"over-lay" and details- black BC is a pain in the pa toot !!! next tims fondant- not exactly what was in my head but o.k. I guess

Great job!! Glad you posted this 2nd pic because the other was too blurry for me to know what it was. I don't know the term ''bunkers & boots''. Now I see they are for firemen!!

Black buttercream is a pain. Next time make dark chocolate buttercream by following wilton recipe, and then color it with the black. Makes it black as coal with little effort since it doesn't have as far to go to get dark.
