This "cake" is made by stacking glazed doughnuts together and "gluing" them together with royal icing. I piped colored dots onto the doughnuts with royal icing as well as putting the writing on the top doughnut. The streamers are made with strips of colored fondant rolled around a pencil. I put a fondant number 7 in the middle of the top doughnut. This was a big hit with the boy I made it for and I have since made another for one of his friend's birthday as well.
