Last cake in set of 3 (past, present and future). It wasn't a cake really....it was traditional Babka (yeast dough filled with walnut and poppy filling)

Hood is made of hard drying gumpaste, and I dry it over a baloon.

how did you do the hood? is it fondant?
Beautiful!! Can this cake be done big enough to serve more than 150 people?
Sure it can, just found tin which is suitable and large enough baloon. I also did not have oval tin, so I just bake it in round tin and made a oval out of it. As for astual "Babka" I would bake 4 separate parts and join them together for all this people - othervise Babka could dry out. Good luck, and post us a photo when finished. I'd love to se it.
