Autumn Leaves
I am a beginner in cake decorating, no classes taken yet, this is my first time ever using Fondant. I did not have the right color gels and after a while ended up filling in the areas between the leaves with frosting. I am a little nervous about posting, but hey it wasn't too bad for my first cake.

Your fondant leaves look beautiful. You could have just put those on a smoothed cake with the same colors...The green bc leaves detracts from your beautiful fondant leaves... The colors are like watching Fall foliage...really beautiful!

I kicked myself for doing it too! I will post a pic of before adding the bc
I like both of the pics. This one with the BC makes me want to jump in it like in the yard, and it reminds me of fall just starting to peak out from summer. I like both ways and would be proud either way. There are always SO MANY different ways to do a cake. This one seems soft, while the other, not so much.
