Bear N Bottles
I had a similar cake displayed at the New Orleans Convention, but this is the original design. The Sleepy Bear is made entirely out of modelling paste and the bottles are cut outs of pastillage painted once dried.

This is absolutely beautiful and too cute!!! Did you paint the bear too? I would love to be able to make something like this one day!
Yes, I did painted after was completely dried. Since it was a solid figure, it took like a week (Florida weather) to dry and then dusted with "light brown" powder. Once, I 've used powder make up to dust another bear and I've checked with poison control before doing it and they told me that it was completely safe.
