Birthday Cake For Son-In-Law
8" round, marble with vanilla filling, birthday cake for my son-in-law. I wanted to do a basket weave cake and I knew that if I made his favorite flavor cake (marble) he wouldn't care how I decorated it!

How did you do the two-toned roses? :D
I striped the bag with blue frosting and then filled it with white. Then I made sure the top of my rose tip was on line with the blue icing. Works beautifully!

Craftermom, Do you mean you put a big strip of blue icing on one side and then about 2/3 white? :oops:
Yes, that's what I do. You just have to make sure you line up the thin edge of the rose tip with the blue (or whatever color you are using) so it comes out blue on the petal edges.
