This is a two-tier chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. The top tier (6x3) was torted with buttercream filling, the bottom tier (10x3) torted with strawberry jam filling. All pumpkins and gourds were made of fondant, the mums were buttercream. The cake was for a family 70th birthday party.

I love all those top decorations! and the mums! I'd love to see the basket-weave repeated on the bottom cake - but overall it's great!
