This cake went perfectly with the theme for the baby shower. The first cake I saw like this was done so beautifully by Nati, that I had to pm her permission to duplicate. I have seen several on this site and I hope mine does justice to those who did it before me!! This is MMF and buttercream bubbles.

This cake is amazing!!!! It had to have taken hours to make!!!! I would love to know how you made the bubbles!!! Curiousity kills the cat... Great job!!!

Everyone at the shower thought the bubbles were marshmallows, but they are actually buttercream. I just made small globs of icing with tip #7 and tried not to form a peak on the tips of the balls. If they did have a peak on them, I just dipped my finger in powered sugar and flattened them a little after the icing had crusted some. I then took a paintbrush and dry dusted the "bubbles" with superpearl luster dust to make them shimmer like real bubbles. Thanks everyone for your comments!!
