Your's REALLY turned out wonderful! Mine never looked THAT good!! I know this is alot of work, but I knew I'd be making these again, so I cut circles out of a box and put these into each of the holes so they didn't move in transport. I later found out that on the side of the box of cones, you can send for metal carriers for these although they are a little pricey. But these look yummy!

Did you bake the cake in the cone or insert cake pieces? They look fabulous!

wow, thanks everyone! I baked them in the cone, and they were really good. I will have to try making a box to carry them in, that's a great idea. I tried to use mini cupcake pans set inside a box, but the cones tipped over and didn't look quite as nice.

suggestion.... gently pack in your box... transport, then when you arrive at party top off with frosting. :-)
