Allsorts Sweet Cake
This was for my hubbys birthday. As he's addicted to Liquorice allsorts I decided to make a cake which looked like his favourite sweet! I did 2 cakes, covered the big one with fondant icing and the little cake cut into cubes and covered with coloured fondant to look like sweets. Needless to say hubby loved it - so did the kids!!

Jan - this is fabulous! I'm grateful the Dutch love liquorice (although they also love one that is made with salt and only a tiny bit of sugar - it's like putting a tsp of salt in your mouth - yuck!) - it's one of the few joys of home that I can actually buy here without having to spend a small fortune in an expat shop!
