This is my frist attempt at a wedding cake! I just started a small home business and I love it! Had a little trouble with the fondant...it would start to almost crack as I was covering the sides of the 6" and 14" layers...anyone know how to prevent or fix this problem??
It looks really nice!! What flowers are those you used? They look very pretty and very unsual.. I like whatever they are!! lol As far as the fondant cracking, it will do that if it dries out ... you have to work really quick with it and sometimes I'll work a small amount of Crisco into mine to make it more pliable.

What a great design. I love the little accent of the white dots against the black ribbon. Very clean and contemporary!

For your fondant, try using less powdered sugar/cornstarch...The orchids are Cymbidium orchids
