Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I forgot to say that the little flowers in the cookies were made with fondant.

I did these same cookies with the same dark red frosting. I had to add quite a bit of red paste coloring. It turned the red parts pretty crunchy compared to the white. Did that happen to you? Did you color your white frosting with a lot of red like I did?

I use a royal icing that comes in a package from CK Products called "Royal & Picture Icing" and follow the instructions for picture or flow icing.

Thanks for the nice comment clsilvus, the little heart are already made from sugar and I bought them in a store.

Those are gorgeous! I love the colors and the little hearts are sooo cute. Did you use a stencil for those, they're so perfect.
