This was done for a bridal shower tomorrow. She wanted me to reproduce the brides dress, so she sent me a picutre. I think I pretty much got it and I am really happy with the way it turned out. The top is just a decapitated doll pick...lol It was so much easier to do it this way then to carve one out of fondant. The rest is just wondermold mold and 15" hex.

That is so beautiful!!! Don't mean to be stupid but did you cover the doll pick with black fondant? Again i would be so thrilled if this were my cake!

Yes i covered the pick in black first and let it dry so it was easier to put the white on it.

Beautiful...great idea about the decapitated doll pick - but next time pick one up at a dollar store (doll) and do that instead - save some $$!
