Faux Wedding Cake

Faux Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This is actually a "fake" cake. It's the pans turned upside down and decorated. I wanted to practice but I was gaining a little weight having to eat what I made so I thought of this instead. The back side is not even fully covered. hee hee

Yes..this topper was done with royal icing...but I have since discovered that my children's clean Play-doh tools make fantastic "noodles" fat or thin...out of gum paste or fondant...it looks very smooth and you can lustre dust it without it melting away!
