Sisters Wedding Cake
This is a photo of my sisters cake all set up and ready to go. I am really not digging the cake topper, but he's big into hunting and the deer represent her, him and her daughter. I made it from a cake circle some spray color the grass attachment and some plastic deer that she bought at the local farm supply store. I originally had made a very pretty royal icing monogram to go on top of the cake with dragges that were gold but that was laid aside and this was put on the cake instead.
It is a beautiful cake noley, your sister should be so happy with such a lovely display. I agree the monagram would have looked better but the dear make it "their" cake . I ended up with model of a motorcycle on my own cake ...gotta give the groom something right? :lol:
also... this cake travelled 350 miles in 98 degree weather I think it turned out alright.. considering the distance I am not totally pleased it looks a too bulging, but considering the trip and weather it was alright.
