I used cake tube 234, the large tube that has the holes all around the outside and one in the center. They didn't take long at all, about an hour total (i had all the colors made already) and they were just so fun to do! Mini-marshmallows were cut in half for the eyes, with a dot of black in the center, orange jelly beans (large ones) for the elmo nose, 100 calorie packs of chip ahoys for cookie monsters cookie, and candy corn for big birds beak.
