I made this cake for a girl at work that went to the Dominican to get married. It was my first time using a scratch cake and everyone loved it. Shells are white chocolate with dust (forgot the name) - chocolate mocha cake, MMF
Well done!! What did you use for sand? I have only recently made a seaside cake that I saw on CC and I used a mix of Raw sugar and brown sugar. Looks like the real deal and it sticks as well, so you can push it up and pat it down like real moist sand. Give it a go next time- HTH. ;-D

Simple and clean, very beautiful!
yum, looks and sounds great!
Beautiful. I love the bronze coloring on the shells. Very nice touch and sets off the gold of the 'sand'. Simplistic elegance!
