Mario Bros. Cake

This is the cake I made for my son's 6th birthday. Chocolate cake covered with MMF and the characters are CT. Inspiration for this cake came from marissa's beautiful Winnie the Pooh cake - she also got me the instructions for the transfers. Thanks for looking!!

WOW! I love your cake! I love how you did the characters in CT and how you made the bottom layer look like grass and the middle and top layers look like sky. Good work :)

I used to play this game when I was little!!!! This is such an amazing cake!! I wish kids still played video games like this one.

ziggyiguana - CT is cake central talk for Chocolate Transfer. imartsy - the CT are not really curved, it just looks that way in the photo - but that is a great idea!! I wonder if you could make them on the side of a bowl or something like that to get them to curve, I will have to play with this idea.... DianaMarieMTV - I googled "Mario Bros." and looked under images. Then just printed off the pictures I found to use as a pattern.

Hey imartsy - I sent you a pm, but just to be sure I "googled" Mario Bros. and looked at the images tab. I saved them to my computer only long enough to print them out, then I deleted them....
