I made this for my daughter's birthday party this weekend and you would not believe the disaster I had with it. I put the character cake on top of a petal pan cake and when I torted the petal pan cake I used floss like someone suggested on CC and it didn't work for me - it made a huge hole in the cake and then I had to try and re-torte it to try and make it more even and then I had to reconstruct all of the pieces. I did a crumb coat to glue the thing back together and then iced it - I think I saved it OK
