Birth Announcement Cookies on Cake Central

I made these cookies as a birth announcement for my brother's new baby girl. I am mailing them from NJ to Ohio hopefully they make it in one piece!!!!

katkakes to answer your question I used the wilton fondant writers for the white and the pink is MMF......the fondant writers worked really easily and only took about 1 hr. to dry , I think I'll use them from now on

I wouldn't know............I always give my stuff away LOL I plan on going into business in the near future.....but I gotta keep on practicing. The only cakes I've been paid for are the tinkerbell and the guitar....and I didn't make much LOL

it's just scrapbooking paper.......I just cut it to the same width as the cookie bag and then folded it over. I used a silver marker and just wrote "It's a Girl" and stapled them onto the bags...simple as that

They are just gorgeous ! A great idea to cut the paper, I thought you bought them. I love your handwritting. Did you really frame them ? It is actually a good idea to put in a keepsake box, as long as it doesn't mold :)

no that's just something I had on this corel photo..........it actually just helped cut out some junk I had on the table next to them LOL

I L-O-V-E these cookies! What an incredible job you did! The detail is AMAZING! Wow! Don't ever put yourself down AGAIN! I may have to run over there and knock some sense into you! LOL!!!!!!!! Seriously though, these are going into my favorites and I hope to use your idea someday. That is if it's okay with you!!!

thanks so much I actually got a pack of like 8 12x12" sheets of that paper for a dollar at the dollar tree!! It's scrapbooking paper.....so many uses for that stuff besides scrapbooking lol
