Fondant Ribbons
This cake has two chocolate layers and two butter cake layers, both raspberry filled. I used MMF over buttercream, the fondant ribbons were nearly the death of me! Maybe I should have dried them a bit before adhering them to the cake? The pasta machine was a big help for the skinnier ones. Has anyone here ever been plagued by a chatty photographer? While I was trying to stack this cake he's yammering on about how he was working another wedding and the cake hit the floor... I wanted to strangle him!
