Thank you so much for you comments,I hope this will help you. I got the ideas from sue_dye's profile on her posts. Go in to her Profile, then her posts and find the mini cake post open it and she gives you pictures on how to cut out the cake pieces and lay them. I used the star tip on one dog and the grass tip on the other. I started pipping from the bottom up to create the fur, just added more icing were I needed it to be fuller. It's actually not very hard to do.The eyes,nails and tongue are fondant....

Your cakes are beautiful! Are there instructions somewhere for this? I have seen several people do them but I have searched with no success for a pattern (or whatever) - maybe I just am not using the right keyword.... :oops:
