The Happy Couple

The Happy Couple on Cake Central

This is the top of another wedding cake which is the same design as the other one in my photos with the two kilty men on it, so I didn't bother showing the whole cake again. I've done this type of cake 6 times this year! At least the brides have different dresses but all the men have had kilts......away and buy some troosers men! I didn't use my sugar gun this time for the bride's hair. I used a piping bag made from parchment paper and snipped it at an angle and piped the hair on.

It's fantabuloosa!!! Knew it was yours from the thumbnail! You're a genius for all the details! MORE kilts I say!!

I use powder colour on the cheeks and brush over it with icing sugar to soften it. The rest of the character is white paste coloured with paprika/flesh paste colouring. I've never air brushed...yet!

I just knew that these adorable little creations were yours. Another wonderful job! You are amazing! I am going to have to play playdough with my girls more often for practice!

This is so adorable. I want to get remarried(or at least have another reception so I can have this cake ;)--my hubby is looking over my shoulder as I type this--lol

Wow. Incredible work; I am saving as a favorite so I have a great reference point for MY faces which, admittedly, need some work. THANK YOU for sharing with all of us!

I love it, I love looking at your creations....the piping of the hair looks just as good as using your sugar gun. Love the tiara, is it made from wire you created yourself. I have to do a wedding topper next month and will attempt at making a groom and bride - they want them under a tree, it's a Fall Wedding. Wish me luck!!
