Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell on Cake Central

Just a yellow cake for a girl who's been with DH's company for 10 yrs. DH got me this order :) the girl evidentally loves Tinkerbell so this is what they wanted for her. edited to say: I thought DH mentioned me for making the cake, turns out they asked him if I would be interested because when I took Wilton 1 back in jan. I sent in all the cakes with him to work because our family was sick of cake (insane huh? LOL)for a while, and they remembered the stinkin rainbow etc. and liked them (go figure lol)

yes it's a FBCT delaware-you know you can use wax paper or computer paper instead of the viva....just make sure your icing is good and crusted over.

how did you get Tink to be the same level as the rest of the cake? Usually a FBCT sits on TOP of a cake, your's in nice and level! I LIKE that! lol

I piped the background color out from tink a little maybe an inch or so........and then layed it on the cake and added more icing to the cake around the fbct and then smoothed it together til it was level then went over it with the viva......I hate when the transfer is higher...looks weird to me so I always make them smooth by the way it didn't look this lumpy in person, weird how cameras bring out every flaw, it looked REALLY smooth in person and up close
