A Retirement Cake For My Dad!
My dad retired after 35 years as a career counselor in high school. This was his retirement cake I made for family. The figure represents my dad (and there is a true resemblance), on the desk are things he plans to pursue on his retirement and in the wastebasket are things related to his work; all fondant to be edible. He really liked the fact that he could eat the trashcan. The cake is a strawberry shortcake with stabilized whipped cream and BC writing.
