I made this for my hubby for Father's Day. A lot of mistakes but I figured it would give someone an idea for their Star Wars fan. He really got a kick out of it. I had the Star Wars theme (from Amazon.com listening samples) blasting when he came in to see it.
Great Job! I'll have to keep this one in mind as I'm not a huge fan of the Wilton 3d cake pans! So.. how many did this serve? Looks HUGE! :o

Thanks! Amazing how many adult fans of Star Wars still. I made 6" cakes & 1/2 of a sports ball. You can use the soccer ball & 8" I'm guessing. I used packaging foam for the arms but thought of making it out of brownies except we didn't have enough people to eat what I made . I looked at a picture of R2D2 & measured the head vs. body & that's how I figured out how many layers to make. It probably would feed 20-25 people.
