The curve on the basketweave was a happy accident. I think the fact that I was trying to span a two inch space caused the strings to curve like that. To me, it looks more twiggy and natural. I love it when things turn out better than you anticipate! Thanks for all the nice comments.

i've never seen a basketweave like that either....never even thought of using a small round tip either....i've got to try it! it's sooo pretty! i like the natural effect a lot!

I admit...I've never been a fan of basketweave cakes....until NOW!! That is so elegant and it looks like very authentic! Awesome...thanks for changing my opinion of basketweave!
