Cake From H_ _L!
First and last wedding cake. Used IMBC and bride ordered pure white linens. Cake looked like it was frosted in Mayo! Gross! Donated my black back drop and made a big difference. Square cakes are the kiss of death. That and black IMBC sweating onto the white IMBC after it came out of fridge and hit Houston humidity and the K of C poorly air conditioned hall! Aughhhhhh! Never again!
I think you did a wonderful job!!! Where did you find the initial toppers, my daughter is getting married 11/4 and we have been looking all over for them. This is my first time on this site, and the shopping is down for updates... Thanks
Client ordered them from CakeJewelry.com - I think they are here in Houston. They were really pretty but make sure you have wire cutters because they come on thick wire 'stakes' that would have smashed into the cake board if they weren't cut properly!

I am glad that some feels the way that I do about their first and last wedding cake..LOL I agree SQUARE CAKES are the kiss of death. I think it is a beautiful cake though and looks SOOOOOOO much better than mine did last Saturday!! Just way too stressful for me...
