Cake done for a friend who just had a baby. THis icing is a nightmare to put on cake. I am used to 100 Crisco buttercream and this one was 1/2 butter & 1/2 Crisco. Its way too soft for me to handle....

Very cute! I too had problems w/ 1/2 butter and 1/2 crisco but you did a great job!
The cake is very pretty. I know what you mean about the 1/2 and 1/2. I have trouble with also being soft. I think I am going to start using maybe some butter for the general frosting and all crisco for the decorations.
