This is a cake I did for my daughter's friend for her 18th birthday. She heard I made one for my daughter for her 17th birthday and told her Mom she wanted one too. Her mother doesn't do cakes, so I told her I would make it for her as a surprise. Alli was totally surprised and just loved it! It's a butter cake with brush embroidery flowers to look like Alli's favorite flip flops. I just love doing these cakes! Thanks for looking. I forgot to mention--the sand is vanilla wafers mixed with white sugar.
