Hi Katemegan! I used a tip 47 or 48 to make the scallop edge then smoothed it with a knife and let it crust then used my viva papertowel to give it the final smoothing. The strawberries were done with a tip 3 outline and then just fill them in. Smooth again with your knife and go over it with the viva towel.
Katemegan...no I use Crisco...but now that they have gone to no trans fats I do half and half with the Walmart shortening. Seems to help it a little from being too soft.
