This is a very poor first attempt at making a pillow cake. It is chocolate cake with buttercream icing covered in MMF. I found MMF very difficult to color and to work with compared to ready to use fondant. I also had one heck of a time getting the fondant to cover the under side of the pillow. Needless to say, I need a lot more practice. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
