A lot of questions about this cake I hope this helps some of you. When you place the head and shoulders on the corner it sticks out a bit on either side of the cake I just filled in the gap with frosting to give it a more round body shape. I love helping and if you still need help feel free to ask away or private message me. Thank you all for your kind words and interest in making my cake.

what size of ball did you use for the body? and for the head?...I think I understand it...lol...very nice, and thank you.

There isn't a ball for the body. the body is the corner of the cake cut and shaped round and rounded with fur frosting. the heads are the small wilton ball pan I think the are about 3 inches in diameter.

What size are the cakes that make up the corners or bottom layers?

Do you have further instructions for cutting the shape from these cakes

Babasuesue- Here is another picture (...) The cakes are 10in squares three layers tall. It helps if the cakes are crumb coated and cold. Just cut off the sharp corner and add a good amount of frosting to round it out then the fur tip frosting will cover any imperfection and fatten them up.

Rice Crispy treats also work well for the head and shoulders. You can press them in the Wilton ball pan to get the perfect shape.
